
1.Basic principles
Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) is an important online fiber filtering and sensing device, which is usually achieved by periodically modulating the refractive index of the fiber core using ultraviolet laser and phase mask plate. It has reflection filtering function for specific wavelengths of light and can be widely used in fields such as optical communication and optical sensing.

2. Production process
In order to overcome the negative impact of removing the coating layer in the traditional FBG production process, our company has an instrument and equipment for the integrated online preparation of weakly reflective fiber Bragg gratings using a drawing tower. During the fiber drawing process and before the fiber coating, online grating engraving is performed to achieve an integrated process of fiber drawing, grating engraving, and coating, ensuring the mechanical properties of the fiber and greatly simplifying the process complexity of subsequent packaging.
